HEIC to JPG
iPhone photos that won't open on Windows or won't upload to a website? Convert them to universal JPGs — privately, in seconds.
The HEIC decoder runs locally in your browser — your photos are never uploaded.
How to convert HEIC to JPG
- Add HEIC photos. One or a whole camera roll's worth.
- Convert. Each photo is decoded and re-saved as a high-quality JPG on your device.
- Download. Individually, or all at once as a ZIP.
Frequently asked questions
What is HEIC anyway?
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is the format iPhones use by default since iOS 11. It saves space on your phone but many apps, websites and Windows PCs can't open it — hence the eternal need to convert.
Will I lose quality?
The photos are re-saved as ~92% quality JPGs, which is visually identical for photographs.
Are my photos uploaded?
No — the decoder itself runs in your browser. Family photos stay on your device, full stop.
A file failed to convert — why?
A few HEIC variants (e.g. certain burst or Live Photo exports) aren't supported by the in-browser decoder. Exporting the photo again from your phone usually fixes it.
