Booklet maker
Turn any PDF into a print-fold-and-staple booklet — zines, manuals, sheet music, wedding programs. Works with and without a duplex printer.
Imposition happens locally on your device — your PDF is never uploaded.
How to print your booklet
- Duplex printer: choose “Duplex — flip on long edge”, print the single PDF double-sided (flip on long edge), fold in the middle. Done.
- No duplex: choose a non-duplex mode. Print part 1 (fronts), put the printed stack back into the paper tray, print part 2 (backs), then fold.
- Staple along the fold if you want it to survive a backpack.
Frequently asked questions
What size will my booklet be?
Half the sheet: printing on A4 gives an A5 booklet, Letter gives half-Letter. Your pages are scaled to fit automatically.
Why is every second page upside down in the PDF?
That's correct for “flip on long edge” duplex printing — after printing and folding, everything faces the right way. Don't fix it!
What if my page count isn't divisible by 4?
Blank pages are added at the end automatically — that's how real print shops do it too.
Right-to-left books?
Choose RTL binding — the sheet layout is mirrored so an Arabic or Hebrew booklet opens from the correct side.
