Add page numbers, header & footer
Stamp “Page (x) of (y)”, a document title, a date — top or bottom, any position, on every page.
Numbering happens locally on your device — your PDF is never uploaded.
How to add page numbers to a PDF
- Add your PDF. Drop it above.
- Write the header and/or footer. Use (x) for the page number and (y) for the total. Pick alignment, size and color.
- Apply & download. Every page gets stamped; skip title pages by starting at a later page.
Frequently asked questions
Can numbering skip the cover page?
Yes — set “Start on page” to 2 (or later). You can also choose what the first number should be, e.g. start counting from 1 even though stamping starts on page 2.
What can I put in a header or footer?
Any text: a document title, your name, a date, a case number… plus the placeholders (x) and (y) for automatic numbering.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No — everything is stamped locally in your browser.
