Merge PDF files

Combine PDFs in any order — drag to arrange, take only certain pages from each file, or interleave front/back scans. Free, no watermark, nothing uploaded.

Your PDFs are merged locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded, stored or logged — close the tab and no trace remains.

How to merge PDF files

  1. Add your PDFs. Drop them onto the box above or click it to browse. Add as many as you need.
  2. Put them in order. Drag files to arrange them (or use ↑ ↓). Optionally type a page range next to any file — e.g. 1-3,7 — to take only those pages, or 5-1 to reverse them.
  3. Merge and download. Click Merge PDFs and your combined file downloads instantly.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded when I merge them?

No. The merge happens entirely in your browser. Your PDFs never leave your device and are never sent to a server — which is also why it's so fast.

Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?

No fixed limit. Add as many as your device's memory can handle — dozens of files and hundreds of pages work fine on a normal laptop or phone.

Will the merged PDF have a watermark or lose quality?

No watermark, no branding, no quality loss. Pages are copied into the new document exactly as they are, including text, images and vector graphics.

I scanned a double-sided document as two files — can I fix that?

Yes. Add the fronts file and the backs file, tick “Mix pages alternately”, and the pages are woven together (1, 2, 3…). If your scanner produced the backs in reverse order — the usual case — keep the “reverse” option ticked and it's handled automatically.

Can I take only some pages from each file?

Yes — every file in the list has a small pages field. Type 1-3,7 to take those pages, 5-1 for reverse order, or leave it empty for the whole file. This also lets you insert one document inside another: add file A with 1-2, then file B, then file A again with 3-.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Encrypted PDFs can't be read without their password, so they can't be merged. Remove the protection first (with the password, in your PDF app), then merge here.
